My opinion: A movie where all humans have an animal deamon, that is an animal that is stuck to you while you life. Not much of a reality check but definately a movie worth watching. Nicole Kidman, plays the bad girl, who tries to seperate the children from their deamons. Its definately an open ending to this movie, and the people who have seen it are bound to want to see what is going to happen to Lyra when she goes on a quest to search for her father.

News of this romance upsets the prince's mother, the evil queen, who uses her black magic to send the girl hurtling out of the animated world into the one place in the universe where there is no true love: modern day Manhattan. The now-real girl has to survive in New York City and find her way home again to her true love

My opinion: A typical Disney movie, in which we are introduced to the new princess in town. Lots of magical things happen when the fairytale characters come to life in downtown New York. It's a nice movie to go see with your little ones. Best thing about the movie? Well in my opinion it's the little squirrel that comes to save the day.
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium

Plot: Molly Mahoney (Portman) is the awkward and insecure manager of Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, the strangest, most fantastic, most wonderful toy store in the world. But when Mr. Magorium, the 243 year-old eccentric who owns the store (Hoffman), bequeaths the store to her, a dark and ominous change begins to take over the once remarkable Emporium.

My opinion: A movie in a fairytale style. All the toys seem to be alive. Its the little details that make this movie special in my opinion, those are the things that make this movie magical. A little downpoint it, that there is not really a good story line in this movie and before you even know it the movie is over.
